Does everybody have a childhood?

There's a number of paintings of the birth of Lilith, or related demonesses, and they're all pretty much the same. Based on the Venus-on-the-halfshell image, they feature a sexy, batwinged femme fatale rising from the slime, ready to seduce men from her very first breath. I'm sick of 'em. It's too easy. So this quick little painting was in response to those images. Am I the only one who thinks that maybe demons had childhoods too? That they might look back their pasts, sometimes, and wonder if they'd lost anything? Maybe even Lilith, the mother of nightmares, had a stuffed rabbit that she cuddled with in Hell...at least in my world.
